War Report becomes a 5 second channel. No more cowardly WR out of fights.

According to your recent posts, you seem to be having some trouble playing the game properly.

There is nothing wrong with War Report. If you do not tag someone and they port out it is your fault, not theirs.

There's nothing wrong with people using War Report, it's an escape tool the game gives us.

But I think it is very fair to suggest they add a 10 sec cast time to it, so it's purely a transportation and not an escape tool.
Even Guild Scrolls has a 15 sec cast time..

While they are at it they can add a blocker to join scenarios if there's an enemy within 200 feet, even if not in combat.

Which just leaves players crashing their game, which is truely pathetic, but I think you already get the kill as long as you tag them.

Though if the server can tell clean (logout) and server side (fort/keep mass disconnects) from alt+F4 disconnects then they could keep those disconnectors logged in for 30 secs after so they can still be tagged and killed.

idk this is just no issue at all. Why would you encourage a discussion of non-issues?

This community is monumentally failing at providing good feedback to developers because everyone is just reporting their perceived unfairnesses, while mostly being completely oblivious about basic game mechanics.

If I see someone war-reporting away instead of dying, I applaud them and not be so angry to make a forum post about how unfair War Report is.

Oh god... more complaints about scroll/in game abilities that port a player. What will this end up doing? Maybe make guild scrolls usable once a week now? War report once a day? Book of Binding once a month? Altdorf scroll once a year?

IMO ... all of these should be reset to the same timers as live. Altdorf/IC scroll back to what it was when introduced, 15 min I believe.

I didn't wanna discuss, but you were having a go at OP pretending it has no merits at all.. when it's just an non-issue to you.. and now we gonna be here for another 30 pages most likely talking about rampage when you could have just let it die in the deep silent grave of Recent page 2..

Adding a free instant on-demand teleport to the game never made sense to begin with.

Makes no sense that a player can just instantly nope-out at no cost in the middle of RvR zone if they just dont feel like fighting. Dont think adding a cast time is feasible, but making it unusable while in active RvR zone could be a simple solution.
Though this would require a fix to whatever has happened to regular teleport items, 1-2 hour long shared cooldown on recall items in a game like this is simply a travesty, wtf

Ultimately if some people are so concerned about having an ability to avoid fights and preserve their death stats maybe an actual instant recall item should be introduced at a fair price?

same criteria would be used for fly paths then
