I don't know what the magus critchance was, but my magus has 48% critchance overall with the 15% crit chance tactic. It actually happens that several dots are crit in a row

Your chance to be crit stat also important. Your initiative needs to be 275 at least and chance to be crit close to zero to get rid of crit debuff.
