Return of Reckoning

I downloaded the game and the launcher. When I start the launcher, I get an error, but the game launches.... I can configure the settings and everything, but I dont see any way to make a character.

The error that I get during launch is:

EDIT: OK, I found my problem.
For anyone else with this issue, this is what you do to fix it....

1. Go to start, and type in the search box "cmd". Right click cmd, and run as administrator.

2. Type in the command console, "cd c:\windows\system32", and hit enter.

3. Then type "lodctr /r", and hit enter.

ive done this and nothing changed. still cant create a character...

If you're getting the error during the lauch, maybe this post will help you.

Seems like problem in yours antivirus. Was the same with me. Add client folder to exclusion of antivirus. If not helps redownload client add in exclusions and then only start game.

nope still nothing is helping. i run as admin, make it not "read only" still cant even create a character...

Are you still getting an error during start-up?

When you get this error <login timeout> and the server ISN'T down!

(check it on the website first or if other people have this problems too) please download http://www.chip.de/downloads/Hotspot-Sh ... 00785.html

Then just start the game and it should work.

Try right click on client folder and push "Properties" -> "General" if there is mark "Only for reading" remove it. It must help. I can call some options not like they are named in real cose I have russian windows.

somebody please help with this. i have the same problem and ive treid for hours now. i really dont wanna uninstall this was looking to play for quite some time.
