Return of Reckoning

I want to get into solo ranked scs, but im afraid of making a fool of myself. Was wondering if any fellow rp players would have some insight on what to do/equip/train

For gearing, there are a few general choices for RP (aside from ranked gear):
Classic - 7 sov 2 sent
Max Wounds - 5 sov 3 WL 1 sent
