Hi all I see different set-up in regards to gear full sov or mix warlord w/ sov is the mix with warlord/sov so they can drop a strength tactic? Better to go with auto attack speed haste or critical % on the warlord pcs? I assume its 3 pc warlord and rest sov? Thanks

It mostly depends on what exactly you want.

More or less you want 70% armor pen with 1050 strength. You get plenty of initiative from gear so the other stat you might look at is wounds but with a solid grp around you its not as important but can still be helpful in reducing how fast you can be killed.

From there, some people focus more crit and others more melee power or the extra mastery points from sov. The main difference comes from jewels and weapons. BiS for endgame Slayer can be done with several gear load outs. Bloodlord Axe is probably the best 1h axe in game. Combine it with the Fort Axe or the rr61 scen hammer. Most ppl prefer to have the sentinel ring as the third jewel slot as well.

You can even go Sov helm, shoulders, cloak and ring with 4 pieces of Vanq or Triumphant for the weaponskill proc. Or, you can go Sov/Warlord for the +80 WS set bonus. AA haste doesn't really matter imo but you could pick and choose the pieces that have it.

WS matters most to slayer over Str and Crit, so most will go 4 Sov 4 Vanq for the proc - my slayer can reliably reach 900 WS with buffs this way (Sov Helm, shoulders, cape, jewel). Full weaponskill talismans.

Some run 5 sov 3 warlord but the crit bonus isn't worth it.

Fortress and bloodlord axe, purple sc weapon is okay as well.

I run 5Wl/3Sov and RR61sc weapons. I don’t have bloodlord orSent ring. But solo play is different mindset than grp/wb play. I still run Rip/Wg/Stost/str tactics as my usual setup.

And I never see you solo anymore. There literally 0 solo slayers anymore... It makes me so sad.
The only solo players I see on order are WH, SW and AM.

I wish there was more of a variety for me to come up against as a solo player.

I solo every day I stream , m-f for about 5-8hrs hour per day.

Yeah Tosh, "solo" means running alone, not following warbands while not in a group. And please don't give slayer advice when you think Riposte is a viable tactic anymore.
