Problem With my Account in-game

Hey guys, tried to play ROR since a pair of years off, i can enter my account on the forum, however when i try to play via launcher i got a Invalid username/password message and cant enter the game.
Need any tips/ help

Solved it, changed password to only letters and works fine now!

Yeah, launcher is a bit picky about the passwords, so do not use weird symbols or letters and have the password shorter than 16

what does it say? you can't log in to forums or on launcher?
make sure you don't have any non-english letters there

Just had problems loging in as well. Forum was fine but the launcher gave me "Invalid username/password" message. The password came straight out of my password manager. So there was no typo in it.
I set up a new password which seems to be working for the forum and the launcher. Comparing the two passwords gives me the impression that the launcher may have problems with passwords containing certain special characters like @ or # while the forum accepts them.

yes, thats what have been said already in this thread also.
special characters are no-no for the launcher cause of the character encoding ( latin1 for the launcher and utf8 for the forums)
english letters and numbers are fine. rest can have problems
