Return of Reckoning

I have played for a while now, gotten to level 20, and I gotta say... The quests seems worthless to me. Only in terms of quest rewards though. I gain mostly just xp and gold, and I can make far better than that by doing rvr and Sewers in Altdorf. I get very very few items, and they are never anything I need, so I can just do public scenarios, or what I mentioned earlier. Do you generally play quests, or do you stick to rvr or other things when playing?

quests are good for finding unique item appearances and making decent amounts of money, not great for lvling

Unfortunately there is not much point in doing quests at the moment.
You can get cool item skins for Epic Quests, but that's about it.

When leveling never take full exp from
Anything. If you must complete quest for gold, then only do so with the instructor’s scroll active to reduce your exp intake.

Sub-40 is all about getting as much renown as possible for as little exp as possible by the time you hit 40. That way you won’t end up getting gear you can’t use due to low renown rank.

Inf rewards can be pretty good for low ranks and its an easy way to have a good income and running around in PVE areas around RvR lakes can lead to finding good little spots to move in and out of RvR and work around certain areas. If you are cut off from your WC or need to flank or sneak around a patrol...good news ! you know a little path over a few rocks and a small hill.

I'd only do questing at lvl36 to get the epic weapons you want.

i think there's a lot of unique appearance gear that some ppl don't know about. sometimes it looks very similar but the texture or paintable areas are different. you find some interesting stuff when questing and doing pqs
