Hi!

How come my gobbo with 38 mount is constantly outpaced by other riders (same line, no jumping)? Arent all mounts equally fast?

The mounts at that level have the same speed, you might be experiencing small desyncs or lag. It could be from your side or from the side of the other players you're comparing with, sometimes you see them a few feet in front, while on their screens they're right near you.

Or they could be cheating.

this happens every hour of every day, id say out of every 20 ppl order and destro, 19 have same mount speed, as it should be, but 1 guy (order and destro) is strangely 'slightly faster' and if order he can get to boxes first, or if detsro he can catch ppl even if you are the on the max mount and then he will knock you off so then u get mobbed by their mates who couldnt catch you coz they have same speed mounts,

most ppl are aware of this for months, always 1 guy out of 20 or so is 1% faster.

higher/lower ping may be the reason

don't forget, there are 50% and 60% mounts

All high level mount have the same %

Since the live you can see some people going faster than you because of desyncs or lag

The issue that live had was that speed the client could handle had a upper limit which faster mounts exceeded causing players to warp forward when racing. That has been fixed here. There may be a case where that limit needs to be increased for a specific mount so if someone can work out the situation to reporoduce this that would be great.
