[WP] Warrior Priest Salvation Advice

Hello Everyone!

Just looking for some advice to become the best healer I can. Love playing Warrior Priest / Salvation. I know this is a fairly straight forward spec and playstyle but as a newish 40 CR I want to be sure I am doing it right :-) I play mostly PUG / NA due to limited playing time...not always optimal groups but there are in fact some great leaders and groups occasionally and I appreciate them.

Current Spec: RoR.builders - Warrior Priest

I have all Armor Tali's, Tome of Repose and Epic Weapon "Valor" and I am full Annihilator (almost have conq complete but waiting for RR50 to swap to keep +1 Salv)

I have been following this post as general playstyle:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8562&hilit=warrior+priest+guide

I am wondering when I have the RR if I should drop willpower tactic and use divine warding for the bubble on direct heal using Martyr's Blessing.

I know that WP is quite survivable comparatively speaking but I also know I seem to be targeted and killed alot :-) I suspect positioning is key probably for any healer but is there anything I can be doing better playstyle wise to increase survivability or is it mainly gearing up ? :-) I use the AOE detaunt as often as I can and Divine light and group cleansing too :-)

Edit: Almost forgot....Trivial Blows or stick with Futile Strikes at this RR/gear level.......

Thank you in advance for any advice!

Which of the tactics would you replace with RR?

Thats pretty much depends on context (you can have 5 tactics loadouts to switch between). If I don't expect to be hit (funnels/playing safe) it's either IR or ED. However, in funnels ED can be nice if you get some AoE fluff to trigger your ED (thank you mr Magus for your Mist). If I expect to be hit its usualy Discipline to go away. If I expect no fluff AoE and I play safe around pulls, then I may drop ED and keep Discipline.

You should aim for something like this with 70 + sov.
RoR.builders - Warrior Priest
The 3 tactics are mandatory.
The last one depends on situation, group composition and if oponents are pepegas or not.
It can be either ED or DW or RR or SoF.
The usual setup for renown for open RvR is 3FS , 3Heal crit, 3 DD and 1 Quick escape at 80.
You can play with the 10 points on QE and/or 10 on DD depending on situation (6v6 or city).

Anyone tried spec’ing trivial blows? If so how many point did you put into it and what else did you take?
