Return of Reckoning

The Name Registar at the Altdorf palace seems to be enjoying a holiday. The window to give your character a proper surename is in place but when I filled a name in it refuses to take my 5 gold and give the name in question.

Are there any rules based on the length of the name? Or names being used elsewhere? Double names maybe? As roleplayer I am beginning to get really worried...

Theres a max number of letters. But If I remeber correctly, it will show, when entering the name, but not typing in any more letters. Also, there is a filter on it as well, so you cant use stuff like suck, ****, **** etc..

EDIT: Apparently such a filter exsist on this forum as well

Its about 12 or 13 letters for the last name don't see why yr worried.
also its not a game breaking thing so don't see a point in them wasting time getting it working.

Roleplayer, we like surnames. Still, if there is a bug it needs to be addressed so the devs are aware of it and can fix the matter when they find time to do so. Just pointing it out, and its also on github.

With Aza's help we figured it out. You have to be level 20. I was still at 19. Fixed!

Is there any way to remove the surname? Or is it not implemented yet?
I can only seem to change it to another one, but can't remove it.
