Friend having PC troubles after playing

I got my friend to install the game and everything was going fine until the DIRECTEXE failed to install due to a crytographic service error. Some commands were entered into system 32 to try and fix this error but did not fix. He was able to run the game fine without this. Problems came when we were done playing and now he has a handful or problems. His screen is very dim despite being 100% most games no longer launch and if they do they run terribly at an unplayable performance. His personalisation settings have all reversed and he can no longer do basic things like run troubleshooter. im not blaming the game as ive installed reckoning time and time again on various PCs without a signle issue, I just hope someone knows what mightve happened

So your friend entered "some commands" into a critical Windows system folder? Do you know what those commands were?

I sent him these commands from the microsoft website that was supposed to fix the error we had at the time
regsvr32 /u softpub.dll
regsvr32 /u wintrust.dll
regsvr32 /u initpki.dll
regsvr32 /u dssenh.dll
regsvr32 /u rsaenh.dll
regsvr32 /u gpkcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u sccbase.dll
regsvr32 /u slbcsp.dll
regsvr32 /u mssip32.dll
regsvr32 /u cryptdlg.dll
exit
but he got to the 3rd and it wouldnt allow it to be entered

None of this has anything to do with troubleshooting our game. If your friend needed to run those commands to fix it, his system is already wildly hosed. Backup your data and reinstall Windows.

These commands were supposed to fix the crytpographic service error not the game itself

You might want to try a Microsoft Windows support forum, not a video game forum.

I just wanted to try here as well, as the issues happened after installing this game, weve been all over reddit and microsoft forums
