Return of Reckoning

System.Exception: You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.WriteFileToArchive(FileInArchive archFile, MemoryStream MS)
at MYPHandler.MYPHandler.ReplaceFile(FileInArchive archFile, FileStream newFile)
at RoRLauncher.Client.UpdateWarData()

I keep getting this error and I cant figure out how to fix it.

Uncheck your warhammer folder from read-only, and use the search function on the forums

I did that but the game launches and its a black screen, then it crashes.

You have the newest launcher and everything in one folder?

Yea, I have the newest launcher inside the folder of the game.

Try this,
1. Go to start, and type in the search box "cmd". Right click cmd, and run as administrator.

2. Type in the command console, "cd c:\windows\system32", and hit enter.

3. Then type "lodctr /r", and hit enter.

And are you sure you have completely unchecked the read only from the main folder, so that all sub-ones and files are unchecked? Double-check.

It keeps reverting back to read only after I change it.

Also the cmd is unable to rebuild performance counter. Error code 5.

Apply changes to this folder, subfolders, and files.
Make sure your launcher is not open as well, and nothing is using the WAR folder at the moment. Also close your torrent in case you unpacked in the same folder.

I do that but the main folder keeps turning itself back to Read-Only mode.
