Return of Reckoning

Hi dear Sorc foes,

I looked at damage numbers I received from you over a period of time (very impressive, thank you) and so I found out that Arctic Blast, Frostbite, Impending Doom critted on me very frequently. Why so?

Sorc has up to "free" +35% crit from class mechanic.

no doubt your guild would have told you what to do here , but ill bite

answer is obviously the sorc mechanic gives them hard hitting crits and plenty of them

My tips to you is :
1. get futil strikes to reduce your chance to be crit
2. get aware of word of pain with addons like Buffhead
3. when you see it on you you need to stop the sorc from completing his rotation or detaunt him asap and get away from nearby CHOSENs because they debuff you and make crits hurt way more..
4. get a knight in your group(!!!), him using htl also complicates things for the Sorc so make sure your tank uses it when you're getting Dotted up!

Believe me or not but chance to crit of the abilities I mentioned was almost 50% and for my futile strikes I always have crit chance minus 5-10%. I looked at traits and skills of sorc and I could not justify this crit rate. Basically this is the reason why I started the thread.

Ok heres a fresh take: make a cute female elf, roleplay as a girl online and charm about 10 ironbreakers, get them to hold the line for you and spam spellshield on you on cooldowns, never worry about sorcs again

I did not mean to be rude but got sort of annoyed with htl suggestion. I have tank among my tunes so I get your point. Although the form of the response was the one the caused aggro.

However, can you explain from your expertise why the crit chance is so high? Note, futile strikes are not overlooked.

Both BW and sorc have crit chance increaser in their mechanic and crit very often and very hard, this is offsetted by their low survivability and low mobility. Getting timestamped in 2 secs sure feels like OP, but considering all counterplay they have, they really are not
