Root cause might be a failed attempt to fly from Ekrund to Nordland. Instead of Nordland I was somewhere in Mount Bloodhorn destro area.

How did you fix it, I'm still having trouble loading most of my characters. It randomly allows me in about 1 in 30 attempts.
