Highlights
Live Event - Keg End
The wheel of the seasons has turned, ushering out the sun’s last warmth with bitter blasts of northern winds. As snow creeps down to block mountain passes and lock the Warhammer world in the icy talons of winter, the citizens of the Old World raise their mugs high; the time of Keg End is at hand. In an epic celebration fraught with boasting, toasting, and epic fireworks, the Dwarfs clear out their stores of ales, beers and other intoxicating beverages in order to bring luck in the New Year and make way for a stock of better, stronger brews.
The Holidays are upon us and, as such, Keg End returns to WAR! Welcome to a Live Event full of toasting, boasting and killing lots and lots of things.
Keg End will start on December 18th at 12:00 Altdorf time and last until January 4th 12:00 Altdorf time.

Realm versus Realm
City Siege
A new contribution system has been added in City Sieges. It is taking more factors into account than the old system. Some of the parameters to the system are not finalized yet, and we expect to tune it a bit after release and testing how it works in real city instances.
Ranked Scenarios
We are preparing for Season 2 of ranked scenarios and are pushing out some of the changes in advance to test them out before the actual season starts.
- Ranked solo is now split into two tiers. RR70+ players in one tier, and those below RR70 in another tier.
- The gear unlock restrictions to queue up have been removed (The item lvl 45+ restriction is still there though).
- Stalwart Soulstones can now be bought for Triumphant Emblems as well as obtained through PvE, exact price will depend on your MMR.
We understand that splitting a small population has the risk of reducing pops even more. But hopefully this should make the matches more balanced and the game mode more fun for both lower geared players and for higher geared players, and thereby increasing the number of players queueing up.
Note: We have now switched from Season 1 to Preseason 2, which has reset the MMRs back to 1500, it will update for you after playing your first game.
