RoR auto alt tabbing (game auto minimizes on launch)

Hey guys just trying to return to RoR for the holiday season with the wife but for some reason with the torrent and launcher they keep auto minimizing whenever I hit connect... I was wondering if anyone had any advice or could help me get up and running again?
