Return of Reckoning

I have done this public quest many times on my 30ish sham to get the mask but I find it very much impossible to get enough contribution to get even a white bag. I have done this at least 10 times by now and trying to outcompete full sov healers/dps/tanks is very very hard, I feel like they should of given you increased chance of rewards the more you do it like oRvR to a certain degree, its getting very tiring to try to get this mask, maybe it is just impossible.

As a full sov healer and tank, I wish it was that simple, lol.

10-15 kills over my 2 chars, no loot. After the 15th, which I solo tanked through the whole thing and came 12th, I decided it's just not worth it at all. The whole thing had soooo low amount of rewards that 90% of the people there got nothing but a tick on their event task page.

That is messed up, I had a chosen friend lvl 20 who did it once and immediately got the mask, I was like uh ok wtf, no idea how the contribution system works or if its just rng. Pretty frustrating but it is what it is I suppose...

as a tank, use challenge. guard good dps.
yea, find good one first who's not a k/d ratio obsessed coward.
sometimes low lvls work better. they have nothing to lose, tend to push to their limit.
make them invincible with buff/debuff and cc.

as a dps, constantly in combat with enemy or npc.
once you pick target, stick to it( ofc not tanks), get loot privilege.
or try until 30% hp then disengage. knowing your limit helps it.
oh, you need guard/heal.

as a healer, pick good tank/dps duo to save them. cleans are amazing.
they're mostly at front line. healing them means you'll be in danger.
survive with detaunt and cc.
successful positioning is facing 1~2 enemy than 4+
if you're too safe you're not healing key players.
and rez.

maybe you already know it. probably everybody knows it.
now, do it better than anyone else.
