Return of Reckoning

I hope this is the right forum for this, if not please direct me correctly.

This happens quite often with both my BG and Knight. While in group and changing guard, some addon will start to spam the group with "Guarding/Not guarding (player name) now". I have tried turning off Think Out Loud, I have tried uninstalling TOL, and I still get this. Is there another addon that would do this?

Please, how can I fix this? Do I just stop guarding people?



Edit: Once this has started, it often persists even if I'm not guarding anyone.

GES also has guard announcements, although I've never seen it spam like that. Could you post a screen shot of your active addons? It might help to have a list of them to go through and figure out whats going on. Could also be that you're running more than one addon that does a similar thing and they are somehow conflicting with each other.

Edit: I think Enemy might also have a guard tool, but I turn half of the stuff in there off most of the time, so I'm not sure...

I had GES turned off just now and still had the problem. I'm removing it as a back up. I'm playing with Enemy guard option, but I don't see any announcements, just distance, size/opacity etc.

I had the sorc guarded first, then guarded the SH when sorc was out of LOS, which I believe plays a part of this.

Hmm... looking at the addons listed I don't see how it could be anything other than enemy. I even grabbed the few that I wasn't familiar with and looked at them to see what they did, no luck there. Maybe the intercom part of enemy? I'll look at it when I get home, see if I can find anything...
