Return of Reckoning

Not sure if something like this already happens, but there are so. many. names. being held at the moment. Many of these toons, when you look them up in the armory, say they've never even entered the game.

I'm all for name reservations and holding onto stuff, but is there a system in place that checks for inactive accounts and wipes those names after a certain period of time?

Kinda interested why or what kind of name you're looking to grab making an insane request like this?

I don't see how this request is "insane".

Character Name wipes happen, just not frequently. The last one was a few months back iirc.

Name Squatters DO exist in this game. I know a few guildies who have low level toons squatting on names.

I'd propose a wipe of low level toons (Sub-16) that haven't been logged into for at least 6 months, and are not holding any significant amounts of loot/gold/crafting materials. That would purge the squatters.
