Is there a reason you're not able to grow them and make them into potions and also crossed out on the wiki?

I believe very long ago devs decided those are too strong.

What made them too strong?

There were pots similar to Blast ones, but single target. Think overall they do pretty much same dmg, however with single target you can't get out of area of effect since the dot is running on you.

I am talking about molotov as well. You would use them on someone, and the dot would run on him, same as event backpacks.

But Napalm seeds/potions do the same thing, how was or is Molotovs different to the extent where their function is disabled? Because they also snared people?

They didn't snare. The difference between them and napalm is that you can walk out of napalm's area of effect, while molotov dot would run on you with no way to walk out of/remove it. Basically molotov was a free undefendable uncleansable ranged dot available to all classes, worth 1.5 k or so dmg after mitigation.

Ahhhh, that makes more sense then - I understand why it was removed if that was the case.

Thanks for the enlightening!
