Does renown level effect anything at these levels?

Hi, I was trying to remember if Renown level scaled any stats or effective level type thing or anything else??

well their is the system where you can drop rr points for various things for your char but that system dosnt work atm

Renown effects what items you can use that are bought off renown vendors till renown points work that's it.
