Return of Reckoning

So my friend recommended to try this project and after checking things out I really liked the idea of it.

But now I've downloaded the game and I was away for a while and my friend logged on his account and played for a bit, but for some reason I cannot?
I've tried to log in successfully to the forums a couple of times now, but the launcher doesn't let me in?
Any fix? The game works on my computer as my friend got in on his account.

Server down? All guild and alliance mates can't log in for Fort defence.
