Return of Reckoning

Hello everyone and hoping you can help

The problem is two fold. My launcher disappeared from the folder. I moved locations on my computer to a new home. (Same ISP). Literally unplugged it, drove it here, plugged it in and couldnt run the game. It is saying I don't have access to the file. I have tried running as admin, redownloaded the torrent and added that file to game folder. I have downloaded a friends launcher file. I finally got it to work clicking on it and running it out of the folder as admin. Then today, I tried to do the same thing and back to the error. Then the launcher .exe file just *poof* disappears into the coronavirusland of the unknown..... I have redowloaded, and tried to put it back in the folder now multiple times. I have security set to "Full access" so that shouldn't be the issue. I am more concerened that after a failed attempt at running it that my computer just decides "oh hey.... lets get rid of this file and tuck it into the corona never" and doesn't even ask ..... The *poof* thing gets me every time. TIA for any and all help.


After further review...... PC MATIC with Supershield was quarantining the file. In case anyonelse runs that program. I believed its solved now.

I have the same issue, why is Windows defender quarantining it?

I wonder if anyone bothers to read the link in the giant red box before they post here. I suppose we could make it an even bigger red box.

First time I’ve noticed that red box

Funny thing, I did read the big red box.... I did do everything in the install guide... and it was still getting rid of the file. Sorry for using the forum to ask for help after hours of trying to work on it. I will wait days next time.
