AoE caps!

The single biggest thing that ruins the experience on this server. You can complain about choke points until you're blue in the face but it will not fix the biggest issue with the balance. Live reduced them to 10 after only a few months because of how powerful they were so why is it still at 24 here with mounting evidence that they are breaking the flow. 400 players should not be getting stopped in a push by 30 AE players. It is beyond ridiculous that you cannot outheal the shear amount of damage thrown out in such a small location by so few and the only recourse of overwhelming the cap is impossible atm.

This server did have a lower cap , the 24 cap was introduced to stop blobbing and bomb bands. I was at the time very much against the cap increase. However directly after the change it was clear that this worked.
The 24 cap does reduce the bomb band stomping everything as tanks can not take the hits and reduce the impact onto dps. If you were about before the cap change you would have seen the effects of a proper bomb band and it’s ability to decimate both in a keep and in the field.
Keep and choke points are not better with lower cap, rather the problem is being able to focus fire on a small spot where attackers are funneled.
