Return of Reckoning

Hello, hope this is the right forum to ask this question. On my RP I got my Keeper set and dyed it black. I now have the devastator set and wanted to keep the look of the keeper set. So after toggling on the appearance tab and changing the appearance to keeper set the black dye was gone and the keeper set was its original blue. I equipped the keeper set again to see if the black dye was there and it was, it only reverted back to original color when used to change the current gears appearance. Is this intended to be this way?

Dyes from the model you use as alt appearance are not ported with alt appearance
