The Renown Abilities are bugged, i seem to have infinite points

When using the Renown Trainer i was able to buy far more points than i should have been able to, I am level 20 renown and should have 20 renown points to spend but i was able to buy numerous extra passives that would normally need me to be about level 35 renown. If i click reset i keep all the passive abilities and their effects, but I get all 20 of my points back- I dont want to try but i believe that i could get more passives if i wanted.
