Stuck on the "Whats New" screen

So you know the screen that says "Welcome Back (Name)" Well Ive been stuck on that for some serious time now. I was able to create a character fine, but logging in wont work. I checked to make sure the server was up, and as far as I can tell it is.

It seems you, like many other players have been encountering this problem. We're working on it, to resolve the issue.
It's just taking some time to work out what caused it.
