Playing together with a friend

So if me and my friend were to make characters who were lets say... a dark elf and an ork, would we be able to play together without any problems?
...since from what I gather, there are faction specific zones and such.

Sure you can - you just need to decide which zone you are doing quests / public quests etc.

No Problem at all - u all spawn "Chaos" and together u can also go to elf or Orc-Country

Only restriction is: If your lvl is more than 4 appart the lower lvl guy will not get XP from kills.
Meaning a friend cant Powerlevel you, and you should stay lvl wise near each other.

You may want to consider picking classes that synergise well.
It usually goes as mdps+tank, rdps+heal in duos, with some exceptions.
