Some alterations I would make:
1) You listed the HoT in the "Situational" section, but not cleanse (which has an arguably more important situational usage).
2) Transfer focus doesn't work in conjunction with lifetaps (Rend Soul, DE, etc), so the tactic is useless in a support capacity for dps dok.
3) I would also add Blood Offering to the "Situational" list.

Unfortunately, we can't cover all concepts and fully explain all aspects.
You all bring up good points.
The support spec with transferred focus is supposed to support your group, assuming you're with a cast healer that can benefit from the bonus you are providing.
