mmm maybe it was a coordinated range M4? like Squig Herder arrow rain.
Also having visual effects on all players would clarify what happened.

It was lord. If u see right before the challange he hit the ground with his sword.(left corner of screen) and one pop it

Lord is hacking.... you cant hit more than 9 target with AoE
