Return of Reckoning

Hello there
I am fairly new and starting out with 2 other people, currently looking what the generally best Melee DPS is, Chaos or Order doesn't matter.

A lot depends on what you are trying to do.

I would go Slayer or Marauder. Others might be better in specific types of play, but I would go with one of those 2.

Order
If you trio i’d Say white lion ( dps pet class , very easy to play with good burst/mobility )
Witch hunter ( very good for solo, it works good as well in grp )
Slayer is also a good choise but it gives its best in 6 man /wb fights.

Destro
Sh melee/range ( Like white lion )
Choppa ( as the slayer )
Witch elf ( like witch hunter )
Marauder ? ( weak and most nerfed class in the game )

choose;
Slayer, high st + aoe melee dmg
Choppa, good st + good aoe melee dmg + pull causes massive salt
Mara, swiss army knife, has good dmg and about every debuff/utility you didn't even know you needed
White Lion, high opening burst + good mobility, weak aoe
Witch Elf, has no clothes or armor, stabs high dmg, then dies (solo gank class with bikinis)
Witch Hunter, has a hat, pokes around with sword, then dies (solo gank class with a hat)
highest Order frontline aoe dmg output, Bright Wizard
highest Destro frontline aoe dmg output, Sorcerer

Apart from Mara, every class has their weakness, either a Berserker mechanic that makes you melt fast SL/Chop, or stupid pet (WL), or light armor and mostly designed for solo play (WE + WH)

Slayer, White Lion and Shadow Warrior are currently the best MDPS in the game.

I would recommend White Lion generally.

Just stay away from mara. It is the weakest melee dps thanks to the devs. You can play wl, we, slayer or choppa. If you have guard and pocket healer go with slayer or choppa. If you dont u can go with we,wh or wl. WL has absurd high burst damage so you can easily kill anyone and also wl has pounce, knockdown, armor debuff, healdebuff (pls add wound db too). WE and WH has stealth and knockdown and burst damage. But there is a lot of wl in order side these days. Mara's damage and debuff skills were reduced.
