purple mats

The newer gear such dominator/conqueror and above when salvaged always give purple or still goes with random chance to get purple?

From what I’ve been told from most players is that resistance talis only come in blue at the highest tier currently. Even if you salvage vanq + gear for any resistance tali you will only get blue quality.
