Return of Reckoning

Great to be back at WAR/RoR!

Upon returning to the reckoning I was hoping to perhaps see an overhaul of B'Orc in RoR since Mythic kind of abandoned the archetype after they nerfed their regen and wounds set up and left Chosen as the king of RVR. Not to mention the whole "stance dance" of B'Orc mechanic just to get off a knock down or KB, skills that are "insta" for IB. I always wanted to play an B'Orc, rolled one up to the mid tiers, but Chosen was/is still so much more valuable and competitive in RVR and a 6 man setting. Though BG seems to have taken over from what I'm reading and hearing(have yet to roll BG in Ror).

I would love to see the current team consider giving a bit of love to the other tanks besides KOTBS, Chosen and BG in order to see the other archetypes become more relevant and competitive. Mythic failed at this with Chosen and KOTBS dominance.

BG has never been more relevant that BO. BG was always the niche class people would pick because they asked, "What classes aren't played too much?". BO was always an awesome pick and still is. They nerfed Tree hit combo and made it so their aoe slow isn't anywhere near as potent so there are some solid nerfs to BO. BO has aoe immunity to CC, Aoe Debuffs, AOE immunity cards errr I mean KB, and some pretty solid Bellows that are more or less eclipsed by potions.

You're correct on Knight Dominance. All the utility that BG brings and all the defense chosen brings is molded into 1 raid-boss class and that is Knight. Whether its their wounds debuff, 10% party crit, Dirty tricks, auras, ability to guard themselves with a 20 second downtime (vigilance), aoe stagger, or Solar Flare that makes them dominant, I'm just not sure. And of course other classes have these things but you have to step into BG to get crit chance inc and wounds debuff and you have to step into Chosen to get Auras. You also need another tank to be guarded. Knights just do it all, kind of like how WL can do it all as well but that's an ongoing struggle debate thats been on for a long time so I won't go in depth, the mere mention of WL seems to draw out the masses... I'm afraid I've said too much.

But the main point is BO is a nice pick, and you can do some solid 2handing with it since Stab you gooder exists. Will you do more than its mirror? No any resistance type damage gets dominance and spirit just so happens to be the best, considering all the elves running around. But I guess you did mention making tanks more relevant and the changes that RoR has preformed has made BG more relevant. I really enjoy Stand Down and enraged beating. And they did change Knights to make them a big weaker but they still stand at the pinnacle of tanking and coming from another tank they should be nerfed, or other tanks should be brought to their level.

I've played BO, Chosen, Knight, Kotbs, SM, and IB. So if you're wondering what perspective this comes from I can assure you its not too terribly skewed. I will admit I have a little bias as I only play Destro and my Order days are behind me.
