Return of Reckoning

I was trying to play the game with the Oh Shinny preset and some things seemed off? Maybe I just don't remember them being like that when I used to play the game when It first launched. I just started off as a Greenskin and the sky and mountains seem to get bright then dim down over and over like its glowing? Maybe it supposed to be that way. Also when I went into the crypt it was so dark in there I could hardly see at all. When I change it to High settings all that goes away. Is that just the post processing effects doing that?
