RR levels and gear

Why is the renown cap so Much higher than the current rvr gear? Personaly id say when higher gear sets get put into the game the farming for only seals will get.. Frustrating?
Or is there plans to release sovereign soon?

Well, besides the rvr sets there were also pvp sets and pve sets. )
These are sets where the parts come from Dungeon Wing Bosses.
Keeper's Armor
Redeye Armor
Bloodlord Armor
Sentinel Armor
Darkpromise Armor
Tyrant Armor
These are sets where the parts come from Public Quest Massive Loot Bags.
Set of Carnage
Set of Havoc
Set of Mayhem
Set of Ruin
These are sets that require renown to wear. Armor pieces are bought from renown vendors. Some pieces are gathered by killing players in Scenarios.
Set of Braggart
Set of Challenger
Set of Duelist
Set of Mercenary

I think you wonder why limit of RR is 255 when nothing will come after 80 in term of gear.
Will explain.
If you played on original game, many ppl, including me have experienced the RR100 ceiling. When happened, we have all encountered the end of the purple rain, and for many of us, it sounded like the end of the game, as if something was... broken. Here 80 is the max in term of natural progression, and level after are just here for cosmetic and validate the investment you put in your character. Probably in the fuure we will add cosmetic content for lvls higher than 80, but for the safety of the game, it is impossible to add more powerfull gear than the 80. 90 and 100 sets on original game just finished to ruin the balance of the game, creating pure monsters.

Yes since rr80 is sovereign.. And rr86 is the highest player Ive seen. But yes warlord is not here either

Atleast since t2-4 is merged.. And on live servers People wanted renown Based sc queues aswell do fresh lvl40 would go against warpforged rr100 players
My point is why have so Much higher renown cap when there's no gear for it.. Personaly I think it would make more sense to have the cap at the current level of the avaible gear
So there's Also no plans on anything above sovereign if even anything above invader? And ofc sc counterpart

Renown cap will discourage ppl tha reach it which mean reroll or drop off ror. So nobody win. Without cap ppl continue to play because they still got the feeling of progression although there is no real progresion. But that feeling is essential and so ppl stick longer with ror.
I have no idea why war didnt done the same

Do you receive any benefit >rrr80, additional renown points etc?
