Engi or BW

Looking to roll an rdps alt. RR 45 WL but I want another character to play to mix things up a bit. When I ask about engi or bw, I always hear the same thing. The damage ends up being about equal, bw has more burst, engi more utility. Which class would I see more success with in scenarios/orvr? Thanks!

That's the feeling I'm getting. I feel like obviously in solo play engi has the advantage but I don't see how the bw can be outdone in organized play.

Engi is way more funny. Also it has an skill for each situation and you can spec in close quarters fight.
I don't specially like BW unless that you get pocket healers. The simple idea of going solo to an scenario is just terrible. I find very annoying the fact that you have to kill yourself a lot.
In live server I rolled BW as my third character. Nice when in group or for PvE. Not so nice in PvP pugs.

Had the same issue but couldnt decide between SW and BW. Rolled both and BW won hands down. Its high risk high reward because You can blow Your self up verry quickly if you dont manage combustion and get no pocket healer

BW is top with pocket healer. -> see zarbix stream.
Engi has higher range and is smaller so can hide better in rvr for ambushes.

BW with aoe is the highest dmg
Engi can be magnet and aoe also, also with a keg
engi is more tough
