Downloading issue.

Hello everyone, im really glad that i found RoR. i started downloading from torrent, after im done i moved the folder to programs and run the launcher. It did started updating , did uptade art stuff 7/7 folders for quite a long time. When it was finished it said the program was closed by another computer?.
Anyhow i restarted the launcher because when i runned the updater it did absulutely nothing. client was just unclickable. So when i started launcher again it started downloading files from 1 out of 171722.... it is downloading them one by one . after an hour im at 4000 lol.
Could you tell me what i'm doing wrong or do i really have to wait that long.
