Character missing from list - Can't re-create using same name

Hi Mods,
Last night I was playing on my new AM. All was fine last night while playing.
Today, when logging into the game I have noticed my AM is now missing. I thought, No big deal, I just recreate and start again, it was only 6 levels in.
Turns out, that my AM is out of the picture, and I am unable to use the same name, cause it's in use?
