~The Battle for Bloodhorn Pass~

For anyone interested in some proper open world RvR let's try this. An unofficial mini-event and a battle between the Dwarvers and Greenskins for control of Bloodhorn Pass. I've deliberately left this late to post as I didn't want to tempt Tzeentch's wrath too much, he does have the on/off switch for the server in his taloned hands after all.

Start Time - Tonight, Saturday 21st March at 9PM GMT / 10PM CET
Event lasts just 1 hour. See Objective below.

Location
Ekrund and Mount Bloodhorn

Dwarf vs Greenskin
If you have a Dwarf, Orc or Goblin character you enjoy playing bring him or her along, it'll add to the spirit of things. If not, all races/classes are of course welcome. No worries.

Objective - Be the Realm who controls the zone after 1 HOUR.
This battle will last just 1 HOUR. At 10PM GMT whoever controls the most Battlefield Objectives wins. If it's a tie, i.e. two each, it's a tie. Don't let this stop you from carrying on with the fight though The only thing that will null the result is a major server crash and prolonged downtime, say > 15mins. A simple restart will be considered the will of the Raven God.

The SeRvR needs YOU
RoR is missing loot drops from player kills but otherwise all the incentive is there. Scenarios don't drop loot for player kills after all but still prove very popular. If you want to RvR then let's do it. Hopefully this battle can provide a bit of extra structure for RvR tonight. If you want to partake spread the word, leave a comment in this thread, tell your guildies and, most importantly, remember to /waaagh.

Good fighting everyone

Good fighting. Just sad to see so much trashtalking. It's really killing the fun for me, that people have to whine so much when they loose, and be so arrogant when they win. It's really childish and hypocritical. I play on this server to have a good time, and I would think other people would do that same, so can we please just stop being dicks and actually show just some kind of decency?

Whenever you win, it's because you are good. Whenever you lose, it's because the enemy is "zerging". Excuses all the time. It's really pathetic. And since people love to use this word so much "zerg"... I think people should learn it's real definition:

Nowadays term zerg is used in mmo games to describe force consisted of large group of lower level players (often with only basic equipment) who use numbers rather then strategy to defeat the enemy, therefore requiring no skill. This tactics is commonly known as zerging

A bunch of guildies running around communicating over ventrilo is not a zerg. You calling guild groups "zergs", just goes to show how ignorant and stupid you are.

I think Destro won this one.. At 10pm GMT they had 3 of the 4 BOs - correct me if I'm wrong.

Great fun. Lots of ppl out. Look our for the Asur vs Druchii in a week or two....
