Return of Reckoning

Hi guys, what is your opinion on the best tank for scenarios as a dps offtank. Im interested in possibly playing any of the tanks except SM (I know they might be best dps offtank but they are just not appealing to me).

2h IB/BG

Really? Why do you say so? I know BG gets the crit bonus and has a lot of anti-mage options, but how does the IB fare as a good offtank dps? It is also my understanding that even a SnB BO can be very bursty to squishies.

SnB BO doesn't have T'ree Hit Combo.

The only "burst" they have access to is Taunt + You Wot? + Down Ya Go/Shut Yer Face. Even then, it's pretty low even on squishies because of low STR.

I suggest you try a 2h BO. If you're not interested in them like SM, then try a 2h BG

try 2h IB.. Volgograd is one example, he might be able to give you better insight of the class.

BG on destro, IB on order, those classes lackluster in WB scale so they are pretty good in smallscale in return

All the tanks are viable, but Id give the edge to IB, BG, Knight or Chosen.

Whatever you choose, for the love of Sigmar do not go 2H until you know what the hell you are doing and are equipped to do so. Even then, as a novice player, you are far more valuable to the group as a mitigation spec'd S&B meatshield.

give sm a chance. it's nice to be able to heal your fellow pubbies if your am is too busy dicking around...
