Ideas to improve the RvR Experience

My ideas to improve the RvR Experience:
- Keeps only rank up by delivering a certain amount of faction resources.
- Holding a Battlefield Objective will generate Faction Resources - it spawns next to the Flag every few Minutes.
- Getting killed while carrying a resource will drop the resource on the ground.
- Resources from the opposing faction, when picked up and delivered to the keep, count double.
- The longer you hold a BO the higher the value of the resource that gets spawned.
- The higher the tier, the more resources it take to rank up a keep.
- Repairing a broken door will cost you resources (means it will de-rank the keep)


What I hope this can achieve:
- Discourage the current "one mega blob" playstyle.
- Encourage communication and organisation.
- Fighting over key BO's (the ones close to a keep for example).
- Encourage more small scale fights (Gank resource carrier vs. Escort resource carrier)

Good suggestions!

I would love for them to make BO resource generators that spawn resources that your faction has to deliver to their keep rather than them just passively generating resources.

Hhmm.. this sounds like a good idea to me? It's not too "intrusive" or complicated and could spice things up a bit.

I believe, no RvR system's reworks will happen until forts are ready. So, you know...

I guess this is motivation to not camp BO's but to hold them and defend them?

Maybe make the resources that spawn worth more based on how many BO's your side holds?


How do we feel about fortifications for BO's? Like, in Dawn of War, you can upgrade listening posts. What if players could spend gold/supplies/officer medallions/whatever to fortify the position to either make it resistant to capture or have some sort of Standard aura for stat bonuses or a offense bonus?
