Let's talk about domination

... or rather the lack of it. What happened to domination? Why isn't it popping? Why do scenarios like this still happen:

Imagine if mara and I hadn't taken pity on order and instead of running the part we would spawn camp the rest of our team - it would end up being a 15 minute slaughter and order would get absolutely nothing for 15min playtime. I know how it feels to be on the receiving end of scenarios like this so that's why I try to end them as quickly as possible but running objectives to Mordor for 80 points isn't great fun either.
So, what is going on?

It’s either bug or conspiracy. If former, create ticket on bugtracker. If later, have fun with the thread. I guess.

Domination is a tricky thing. The issue is what triggers domination and what does not. See we never want to trigger domination in a good fight, so the problem is the definition of what the system considers domination.
I can with a high certainty say that this case its probably not a bug but the system not considering it a domination. That said I do not want to go into what the system looks at exactly as I dont want people to abuse it in a negative way.
Now if you can come up with a good way to calculate whats dominating and whats not that cant be exploited Im all ears.

Would it be possible to add a system where the dominated team could vote to surrender (possibly using chat commands) if something like this is happening? That way you would not have to fully rely on the system detecting whether or not a domination is occurring.
It could look something like this:
-.Surrender
-"X has started a vote to concede the match, Y votes are needed to proceed."
-.Yes or .No
Ideas for Rules/limitations:
-Time/Point limits could be set so that votes could not be started too close to the beginning of the match
-Add a time limit so that a vote cannot be started over and over
-Make it so that ~60% or ~70% of the dominated team would have to vote yes in order for the vote to go through (that way 1 premade would not be able to decide for the whole SC group to give up)

i've played enough LoL to know that a surrender system is a terrible idea.
People are just going to afk if they don't win the surrender vote. It will just make things worse.

Like it would make people afk more than they already do when they are spawncamped.

Doesnt have to be hard considering domination u just think to hard About iT natherul.. a 300 points in diff is considerd a domination 20kills vs 0 on other hand is also considerd domination. Think in Logic and abusing a domination is no good for both sides so dont think anyone would abuse iT.

That looks like the group I was in being camped last night while they had a lone Mara running the bomb. Sad times.
