Return of Reckoning

So, I was just in scenario. I am rank 29 Choppa with the full set and lvl 29 pvp weapons. And I was fighting an rank 26 engineer, who was just sitting next to his turret, not even moving. The thing is, I lost to him. In melee. Him not even moving. Whats up with that? Is there some kind of low level scaling exploit people are using with armor values or something? Kind of depressing that melee career can't beat ranged focused career, in close quarter combat. Feedback on wtf I just witnessed would be appreciated.

Engi gets a bonus on dmg, if he sits next to his turret. The longer he sits there, the more dmg he does. If he has all of his 8 stacks, he is very hard to push. I play marauder and also try to not push them solo (either pull them out of their tower range or group up).

Just kill the turret and then the engi.

Engi is better at 1v1 than Choppa, tis the truth. You wont win that fight ever unless the engi is dumb or has a heart attack irl.
