Return of Reckoning

Hi everyone. I'm not sure what the current meta looks like and I'm struggling to pick a class. I usually drift towards the roamer play style and I played a damage based black orc live but that was years ago and I'm sure a lot has changed vs live.

I'm kind of between Engineer and Squig Herder right now but not sure if either can play a roamer very well. I enjoy WH too but I hear it's pretty hard to play in RvR at higher levels.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a roamer... that's generally just the style I drift towards. I like doing everything PVP tho. Scenarios, RvR, etc. Anyone got any input for me? Appreciate it

try zealor or shammy, roaming as solo healer and looking for active fights where people need your heals is actually fun

DPS Zealot doesn't kill things at a fast enough rate to be considered a roamer, though.

SH, Engineer, and WH are all viable contenders (SH has the best mobility, Engineer can position somewhere safe and snipe people, with a keg healing him, and a WH can literally kill every target in the game if played well).

From my perspective as a long time SH solo roamer,
I would not suggest SH anymore if you want to solo roam, the class was nerfed to hell.
In a group SH has nice debuffs your team might need, but on a solo perspective the class is not viable anymore. It hits like a really wet noodle, and any "DPS" tanks hit harder than a ranged SH.
At least Engie has a new ability to ignore armor, so it can hits really hard (last critical Snipe my SH received was 2850+ damage).

Well I played the bad guys on live so I feel like I should play order this time. I guess I'll play some engineer and see how I feel about it.

I enjoy WH too but melee in RvR that isn't tank.can be painful and I'm not sure I wanna go through that.
