Return of Reckoning

hi. not sure if this is the correct place to post this, my 1st time using a forum about an issue. a couple of hours ago i was playing & i equipped a new belt slot item. afterwards i noticed that in my character screen my toon had turned completely maroon. the profile face pic in the upper left corner blacked out, several items on npcs & terrain had turned white, some npcs had maroon heads (or worse), some mobs were completely grayed out. all very strange. i don't know what caused it, i don't think the item i equipped did all this. what's my best bet to fix this? should i re-install the game?

i had asked for help in the advice chat but got no help, no one else seemed to be experiencing this. the gm Wrathchild was on & i messaged him a couple times but got no reply. so here i am. any help would be appreciated. thank you.
