i like PvP ! - i dont understand whats happening

Hello,
i recently stumbeled about different opinions and comments outside of this forum and decided it is finally the time to give feedback to the RoR Team. The following description is just my personal point of view and should not be taken as an offense.
I am fully aware that this is your Server and your Playground and it is awesome that i have the chance to participate. The Server should heading the direction you want because like i said it is yours ! I do not take the existance of this Server and the offer to play here as granted but more as a privilege.
I like PvP - and i still like the idea of an PvP centric MMO, i also like the arcade feeling of Warhammer and especially the low Bar you need to cross before you can enter PvP.
One of the long time strength's of the Server was the lack of "grind" and the ability to start PvP with little effort.
This changed slowly (not for me personaly, because i play here long enough, but for beginners).
In the past i could tell my friends about this cool server and in no time the toon was created "lvled" and competitive. this changed over the time.
The recent changes baffeled me because i thought the intention was to let the "casual Player" be competitive but i can't bring it in line with the recent equipment changes.
- The easy to get Equipment was moved down the Equipment spiral
- The new City Dungeons get a lock timer ??? why do we need time sink here ? why not let new ppl get good equipment faster so they can PvP ?
- an additional Item set that is a Tier higher instead of just creating sets that are the same tier but with another focus (for example a 2h def set for tanks/ or a Initiative Set ... )
The existing Equipment is already making a huge difference and the grind for new Players (especially MeleeDD in need of Weapons) before they are even close to "BiS" is way too hard.
TLDR
We want ppl competitive in PvP - and new Players
-why is there an equipment grind
-why additional Equipment Tiers instead of alternate Bonus combinations in the same tier
-why adding timesinks for PvP Equipment
