Again, a debt of gratitude to Morog for the How To (and being incredibly patient yelling at me to follow you while I tried to jump over the exit barrier)!

I don't think you have been punted there with the purpose to take you out of the game. Most rDPS hit the key as a panic button and i don't think this bug happens only to destro chars (hashtag #orderexploit )

Btw a while ago i saw a choppa going past the glimmering war-logo to avoid getting followed/killed. That's a real exploit (= willingly).

Hey, you're right, and I rescinded (in comment sections on plays.tv) the "exploit" hashtag. If I could have edited them off I would have. I watched one of our guildies do it to an Order player; in fact I happened to aim my POV up at the ledge above Order's spawn to see who was raining arrows on me and actually saw the bolt travel across the sky llike a meteor entering atomsphere. It actually started from just above and behind Order's spawn and traveled fairly slow towards the (old Live) exit that I got punted to yesterday. I'd not seen that happen to Order, nor seen/heard anyone talk of it and when on my Magus or Squig Herder.

I'm lucky to get my target off the edge when I'm at gate switch. So yeah, not "Order exploit", but even with my mate doing it I'm reticent not to call it a bug being exploited with the sole purpose of eliminating players from the match. I'm going to see if I can reproduce it cos it blows to be taken out like that, no matter the realm.

it's not like panic buttom, but every time i want to punt someone with my magus i have to consider 2 second lag beetween punt and skill use, that's why lot's of time i put ppl where i dont want to

Never mind. As far as i remember, there is some z-axis bug on punts atm. According to azarael when this happens, you are always ported southwards.
Maybe it is fixed, when the rework of the ability system is done.

I remember a long while back mention of an antibot system in the client that changed certain position axis values as you played that was synced with servers so bots couldn't read axis values and use them to set movement routes. This might be something to do with the confusion with the server client positioning. This was many years back on some dev chat so not sure if thats true.

I just wish people in GoE would grow some balls and stop jumping off when they are about to die. I will gladly stay up top, get pounded on and die instead of that pu.ssy sh.it.

I also wish this. Your enemy wants you to run. Unless you are kiting then running away takes you out the game.
