From as soon as I log in to a few minutes in I experience a bleepy sound and then a game crash when I'm playing RoF. I've just installed it so I was wondering if I installed it wrong or something?

Hi, my friend had this issue and when replacing the file with this download it one it always makes him redownload the whole game. So he gets the bad audio again and crashes and rinse and repeat... any thoughts on what it could be?

A workaround is to delete in the "miles" folder the file with mp3 in it's name. Mssimp3 or something like that.

After the client has updated, delete the file, then start the game.
It might help, but you have to redo this every time you start the client and you won't have ingame music anymore.
