Return of Reckoning

Anyone interested in bringing back CW duels? If anyone doesn't remember, on live server you just go to CW and people group up to duel each other. Since the duel function is taken out, there is really nothing like it except finding someone in the rvr lakes 1v1 and hoping nobody interferes. We could start a thread each time we want to bring it up, or have recurring days or something. I get a lot of great 1v1's out in the RvR lakes on my sorc, but it would be really fun to have this back.

Sure, go ahead. Just pick time when RvR is locked in that zone.

On Karak Norn it was either Eataine or CW, what ever was closed.
On my first server it was Eataine too, near order wc.

You could also consider MoM or Ostland as in both zones the wc's are close to each other.

Eataine is best for duels, cause of short distance from both warcamps, and the mid bo allows for some tactical maneuvers between different archetypes.
CW however is perfect for 6v6, although on my past server i did a fair share of duels out there.

As Nidwin said, TC might be also awesome for that.

Cos k8p where the place chosen by all Da0C guilds to play and Eatine where on honor of Emain

This won't work here because the "duellzone" was from the old Daoc days where players had positions in the ORvR zones where only duels were allowed and if you attack someone there you became camped.
When WAR came out the inofficial hope to be a Daoc2, the Daoc players took the mentality to WAR.
Since the communitys in games become more and more honorless and full of assholes it will most likely not work anymore.

It worked fine both on live and here, in ror.
Sure , sometimes a bunch of aholes show up, wiping one side, but its really rare.
