Return of Reckoning

New player returning to the game, been messing around on a few characters and was just wanted to ask more veteren players, what are the classes on Destruction is the generally considered fun to play and what is faction in need of role wise? I'm a long time fan of Chaos, but I just don't like how Chosen are in this game, and I remember from when I played a while back that Marauder's had a somewhat sharp skill curve at in game. Any input would be appreciated, currently looking at Magus, Sorcerer, Blackguard and maybe Marauder.

I more wanted to state, all are popular in warbands.
the range classes are somewhat unpopular in SC premade comps, but can work too and work in a less organized enviroment also quite well.

they are not "meta" though.

I would go from the PoV what you think looks good and has mechanics which favor you.
I found my main that way, and didn't care too much about choosing a "meta pick".
